MC Zone hosts many gaming Minecraft servers, each offers a different community of people and style of play. As our community grows, we plan to add more and more servers and games to ensure you are having the most exciting gaming experience possible within the bounds of Minecraft. MC Zone was founded, created, coded, currently maintained and administered by me, funkystudios. I started my first server back in August of 2011. This server was founded by the name of "TerraScape" and became increasingly popular but experienced a decline in popularity as more servers arose and created greater competition.
I was left with a friendly community of around 75 reliable players. To support TerraScape's monthly server costs I strongly encouraged donations and eventually created a "Hunger Games" server that was very popular at the time. I ended up creating four hunger games servers that were often filled with players. Again, my servers experienced another decline in popularity. More hunger games servers popped up offering different and new ways to play the game.
During the summer of 2012 I developed a plugin that would run the popular minigame, "The Walls". Starting with one walls server, I eventually added two more as this game became the most popular out of the three that I had started.
As you can see, there is a pattern to my servers. I create the server, people love it, and after a couple months that server or game becomes less popular causing me to start a new server. People literally forget about the old games that they used to love. I realized what I was missing - a link between all of the gaming servers I have developed, so I made MC Zone. Now you can simply go to mczone.co choose a MC game of your liking and join the server! Here you can also find player statistics and leaderboards. Hope you enjoy playing on MC Zone!
